1979 saw the opening of Castle Air specialising in aerial filming, TV work and charter, as well as helicopter sales and service. Some of Castle Air’s more famous works include Treasure Hunt, Flying Gardener and Coast to name but a few.

In 1998 the main forecourt was extended to make room for more vehicles, ensuring that Castle Motors and member companies will go into the future maintaining their motto "Way above the rest".
