Castle Motors is a family owned & run business founded in 1972. It was built on a site by the side of the old A38, previously a petrol filling station called Castle Garage, which had been serving the community since the 1930's

Roy, Graham, Stuart and Adrian Flood together with Tony Manning changed the name to Castle Motors and car sales were started. In recent years Dean Flood,

Dale Flood, Lee Flood & Christopher Hallett have also joined the company's sales team, with a total workforce of over 50 employees.

In 1976 planning permission was granted for a larger forecourt, showroom and workshops. This coincided with the re-building of the A38 Liskeard bypass providing better links between Devon and Cornwall .

In 1979 Castle Air was opened by the brothers. Specialising in aerial filming, TV work & charter, as well as helicopter sales & service, Castle Air is most famous for the "Treasure Hunt Series".
